Aussie Fare with Brett Kirk

The first ever Women’s Australian Football International Cup will be played this August in Australia with 6 women’s teams competing for the flag. The New York Magpies are proud to announce that four of the New York Lady Magpies were chosen to represent their country as part of the USA Freedom.

In support of the Lady Pies selected to the team, The Australian will be hosting a wine tasting evening with Sydney Swans’ Legend Brett Kirk. As part of Captain Kirk’s Odyssey 2011 tour, Brett Kirk and his family will be traveling to 18 different countries that will be participating in the 2011 International Cup. His stop off in the Big Apple will include plenty of footy and of course, an evening at the Australian.

The Aussie Fare for Freedom evening will include a 3 course meal and 6 different wines from both the United States and Australia.

Time: Dinner 7pm. Tasting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
