Nationals

The USAFL is pleased to announce the 2011 Nationals Divisions have been set.  The National Tournament Committee has finalized the pools for Divisions I, II, III and Women’s. Division IV still requires some final revisions and Region Vice Presidents will be following up with clubs (listed below) to confirm player numbers and pairings in the coming days.

We are pleased to note that a record number of teams are playing at Nationals this year.  Unfortunately, this makes our task even more difficult, and will inevitably lead to some disappointment.

The 2011 USAFL Nationals are now under 2 weeks away. The USAFL board, staff and volunteers are working hard behind the scenes to bring you one of the biggest Nationals yet. As part of the preparations for the event, one of, if not the largest tasks of the tournament is setting up the schedule and seeding's.

To give clubs and participants a behind the scenes look at what goes on in preparations for such a large tournament, we have provided for you an overview of what goes on during the selection process.

The Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau announced tonight at the Dublin City Council Meeting that it has secured the 2013 or 2014 United States Australian Rules Football National Championship and the 2012 49^th Parallel Cup. Both events will attract participants from across the world and generate a total economic impact of nearly $2 million for the City of Dublin.
