AFANA Needs Your Opinions! 2009 Survey Underway.

AFANA is the Australia Football Association of North America and has focused on being a representative of the Footy fan in North America, with specific focus on the coverage of AFL. The USAFL has partnered with AFANA on a number of subjects over the years – including this survey. Please read the following to participate in the survey!

USAFL Office Manager

I have been in the Office Manager role since the end of February in a part-time capacity. I will be stepping aside at the end of this month to concentrate on my full-time job (that I have still been doing) and raising my new 5 week old son. We have a new person, Amie Kennedy and a new role “League Administrator”, starting in the first week of July.


Up until February this year the USAFL Office Manager had been a full-time position. It is the only paid position (not counting our accounting contractor).

The USAFL Executive Board has approved the following rules/laws for all USAFL clubs to adopt during the 2009 USAFL Season.

As the USAFL looks to a successful 2009 season the Executive Board is taking on a new look.


Member at Large since November 2007, James Waddell, will now officially take over as the League's Office Manager. Alistair (Al) MacGlashan will take over as Member at Large.

USAFL Office update

The USAFL Office will be closed from March 9th to March 31st as we transition to the new Office Manager. In the meantime USAFL Board Member James Waddell will be handling urgent enquires as will President Rich Mann.


On April 1st we will back up & running. We look forward to the 2009 USAFL season and if you have enquiries in the meantime please contact James at officemanager@usfooty.com
