The United States Australian Football League (USAFL) is pleased to announce that The Honourable Joe Hockey, Australian Ambassador to the United States of America, has accepted an offer to become the Patron of the USAFL.  This marks a significant step forward in the USAFL’s efforts to further develop partnerships with key Australian government officials and business leaders in the US and Australia.

Philly, Nashville, Sacramento to Host 2018 Regionals

The American summer of 2018 promises to be a hot one.  It always is.  But the heat generated won’t just be by the atmospheric conditions; there is a lot of footy on offer across the country right as summer comes to be.

2017 USAFL Roll of Honor

The 2017 season was commemorated across the country with end of season parties, held by most of the league's 38 clubs.  Not only was excellence and valor on the field recognized, but hard work and dedication to club and country off the field was acknowledged as well.

League Statement Regarding MLF & Tampa Bay

We are aware of some social media activity regarding Major League Footy (MLF) recently and we want to make sure it is very clear that the USAFL is in no way affiliated with MLF or any of its operations.  MLF is a For-Profit organization and its business model is in conflict with the USAFL's Non-Profit status. Subsequently, be advised that the Tampa Bay ARFC / St Petersburg Swans are no longer a USAFL member club.

Board Update - Letter from Seb Aguiari

Dear USAFL Members,

This letter is to inform the USAFL Clubs and Members that Steve Grandfield has resigned as USAFL President due to professional opportunities outside of football. I'd like to express my appreciation and gratitude to Steve for his dedicated time and contributions to the USAFL Executive Board over the past 3 years. Per the USAFL constitution, if the President role is vacated, the longest serving Vice President fills the role until the next AGM. As the Vice President of the West Region since 2015 I would be next in line to serve as President.

Update From USAFL President Steve Grandfield

It was once again great to catch up with everyone at the 2017 USAFL Nationals this year.  What a great weekend it was, and as I heard someone say, it was like a big family reunion.  That is what Australian Rules football has always been to me.  It doesn't matter how often you may see past teammates and/or other people involved with the sport, there is such a bond that is created around this great game and it is something that everyone needs to be able to exper
