In 1602, a Spanish merchant by the name of Sebastian Vizcaino, looking for prosperous regions to help spread trade, came upon the shores of Alta California. The landing was made during the feast of San Diego de Alcala, he renamed the area.

The USAFL is proud to announce that GoLive SportsCast will be broadcasting, live, four final matches from the USAFL National Championships in San Diego on October 22. The matches can be viewed, golivesportscast.com, and available to watch following the event as well. The matches to be streamed will be the Women's Division 1 Grand Final, as well as the Men's Divisions 1, 2, and 3 Grand Finals.

The men’s USA Australian Rules national team, USA Revolution, is proud to announce the formation of the Revolution Hall of Fame. The team played its first match in 1999 and was coached by Australian Football Hall of Fame member and foremost advocate of international talent development, Paul Roos.
