This October over 1,000 players, representing more than 30 clubs, will congregate in Austin, Texas for the largest footy carnival (tournament) in the world. This year players and spectators will have the opportunity to donate their used footy boots and give back to footy.

After the amazing success of the inaugural Masters vs. Legends match at the 2012 Nationals, the game will again be a feature at this year's National Tournament! The event is an opportunity for the USAFL to recognize the contribution of our players who have since ‘hung up the boots’ and showcase the fun and social aspect of the game.

The USA Revolution dominated in a competitive match against their neighbors from the north and came out with a 31 point victory. The men's development squad tied in well fought match. The women's teams unfortunately did not come away with any victories from the weekend.

The Sydney Swans are pleased to announce the signing of 24 year old American Patrick Mitchell as an International Rookie.
Mitchell, from Des Moines, Iowa, stands at 201cm and has a background in basketball, most recently playing with the University of North Dakota.
Swans coach John Longmire said the club was impressed with Mitchell’s athletic capabilities as well as his determination to learn the game.
