Two weeks after dropping a heartbreaker to the Giants (1-1) at home, Ohio Valley (1-1), made up of players from Cincinnati and Louisville, got redemption in their second home in the Bluegrass State. The win gave Cincy stalwart Liam Shanahan a great big present on the occasion of his 50th birthday. The rubber match of the season series is in Indy on August 18th. (Report)

Amanda Boe kicked eight majors as the Grizzlies women made it three-for-three in BCAFL play with a 82 point win over the Vixens North of the Border. Seattle’s men, meanwhile, dropped an 84-point decision to the Cougars to drop to 1-2. (Reports: Women, Men)
