ANZAC Day weekend in the big apple saw two exciting matches where the home club split.  The Magpies men held their Canadian opponents at bay to come home 21 point winners.  The Magpies women, helped by reinforcements from Boston, battled the Angels tooth and nail, but in the end missed a shot at the siren that would’ve given them the victory. The Dockers spotted their guests five goals in the first quarter, before clawing their way back on the shoulders of fullback Scott Klink.  The Giants, supported by players from the Louisville Kings, held off hard charging Cincy to pick up a big four point road win in the end. (Recap)
