Denver Bulldog, Nick Auden Passes Away

The USAFL is saddened to announce the passing of former Denver Bulldog, Nick Auden. Many, not just in the US, but in the greater AFL community supported Nick in the "Save Locky's Dad" campaign to try to get him a new drug currently undergoing trials. From the Facebook page:

Nick and his family, aided by friends and supporters, fought an extraordinary battle with Melanoma. This is a time to pause, to remember our dear Nick (who became half a million people's dear Nick) and to support Amy, Lachlan, Hayley, and little Evan.

But this mission is not over. Nick and Amy's fight and your support of them—and in the end, Nick's death—beams a spotlight on a glaring need for change in compassionate access practices for life-saving drugs in late-stage investigational trials. More on this when the time is right.
