Warren County CVB Sports to host an International Footy Weekend in Mason

What:                    You don’t have to wait until October to get a glimpse of Australian Rules Football (Footy).  Warren County CVB Sports and the city of Mason will host an International Footy Weekend, featuring all-star Footy players competing for the United States and Canada.  

                                Admission is FREE to the public. 

                                Interview opportunities available with Rich Mann, United States Australian Football League (USAFL) President and National Championships Tournament Director

When:                  Saturday, August 1

                                Exhibition Game               Cincinnati Dockers v. Columbus Jackaroos

                                                                                11:30 a.m.

                                Game 1:                               U.S. All-Stars v. Canada All-Stars

                                                                                1:00 p.m.

                                Game 2:                               Revolution v. Northwind

                                                                                Approximately 3:00 p.m.

                                Sunday, August 2

                                Game 1:                               Revolution v. Canada All-Stars

                                                                                12:00 p.m.

                                Game 2:                               Northwind v. U.S. All-Stars

                                                                                Approximately 2:00 p.m.

Note:  Revolution is the U.S. National team (comprised of all U.S. Citizens) and Northwind is the Canadian National Team (comprised of all Canadian citizens).   The All-star teams are made up of Aussies that live in either the United States or Canada.
