Sep 23, 2013 Witness Greatness - The 2013 AFL Grand Final This Friday evening clubs, pubs and party goers all over the USA will be hosting AFL Grand Final Parties. This year's Grand Final will be between the Hawthorn Hawks, who made it to the big game last year, and the Fremantle Dockers - who are playing the first ever Grand Final match in the clubs history. Sep 20, 2013 Need an Exemption? Club Administrators may now apply for player exemptions via the League Management System (LMS). Clubs are encouraged to submit exemptions as early as possible - this will allow board members ample time to review requests and process them prior to Nationals. All requests should be submitted no later than October 11. Requests received at Nationals may be reviewed on a a case-by-case basis. As an ongoing recognition of individuals contributions to the USAFL, each year we will be asking for your nominations for inductees as USAFL Life and Hall of Fame Members. Life Membership of the USAFL is a recognition of an individuals excellent service to football in the USA. Aug 4, 2013 Sydney Swans Sign Patrick Mitchell as International Rookie The Sydney Swans are pleased to announce the signing of 24 year old American Patrick Mitchell as an International Rookie. Mitchell, from Des Moines, Iowa, stands at 201cm and has a background in basketball, most recently playing with the University of North Dakota.
