2022 AFL Grand Final Viewing Parties

It's been three years since the Melbourne Cricket Ground has hosted the AFL men's Grand Final. It's been a long time, but Australia's big game has come home.
More than 100,000 fans will jam the grand old ground to see who will be the 2022 AFL men's Premiers, the climax of a season of exciting play, and the high point of a week filled with color, tradition, and festivities. From the Grand Final parade to the Grand Final sprint and an assortment of random bands, there's something in it for everyone.
But the centerpiece is the footy, and two teams will battle it out to determine who will be the best side in this, the league's 126th season. This year, it'll be the Patrick Dangerfield and the Geelong Cats against Lance Franklin and the Sydney Swans. The Cats are playing in their 19th Grand Final looking for their 10th premiership. The Swans, who played in South Melbourne until 1982, are in their 18th decider and have won five titles. Amazingly, though both teams were original V/AFL teams when the league in 1897, this is the first time they'll meet in the Grand Final.
In addition to a return to the MCG and to Melbourne, the match also returns to it's traditional daytime timeslot of 2:30pm AEST, which means that we here in the States can once again join those around the world in being able to watch the game at an hour where most of us will be awake.
And, as in previous years, many USAFL clubs will be hosting watch parties for the big game, offering everything from Aussie delectables to giveaways to fun and games and music in the lead-up to the final showdown. So whether you're a local footy fan or an Australian just passing through the USA on holiday, come out and support your local USAFL club with fellow fans such as yourself and make some new mates in the process!
Below is a listing of USAFL hosted watch parties across the USA listed in alphabetical order by host city. The list will be constantly updated up until the day of the big game, so keep checking back.

The AFL Grand Final is scheduled for 12:30am EDT on Saturday, September 24th (9:30pm PDT on Friday, September 23rd). Unless noted, all parties will begin on Friday, September 23rd.
Some parties require tickets to be purchased ahead of time due to limited capacity, and some have specific venue guidelines (age limit, alcohol cutoff times, COVID restrictions, etc). Be sure to check your party's event page and/or message the host club with any questions.
Can't make it out? The AFL Grand Final will be available on WatchAFL will carry the pregame festivities starting at 10:30pm EDT. Fox Sports 1 will begin coverage right before the game at around 12:24am.
