2018 USAFL National Divisions Announcement

The USAFL is proud to announce the seedings for seven divisions to be contested at the 2018 USAFL National Championships in Racine, Wisconsin to be held October 13-14 at the SCORe Complex.  This year's tournament features 45 teams, representing nearly forty clubs across the USA and Canada.

The men's divisions and women's Division 1 were announced live on the USAFL Facebook page on Thursday, September 27th, hosted by USAFL.com's Brian Barrish, USAFL Revolution head coach Tom Ellis and New York Magpies and USA Liberty forward Lauren Skonieczny.

The divisions and seedings were based on the nominations of the clubs, as well as season performance and past history, among other factors.  The USAFL Nationals Seeding committee took great care in balancing club requests with logistics of the tournament and ensuing a fair competition in all divisions.

On Friday, September 28th, following Following the live announcement of the seedings, the Dallas Magpies asked to be moved from D1 to D2 due to manpower concerns.  Therefore, Division 1 will be six teams while Division 2 will be a nine team comp.

2 pools of three teams each.  Each team plays two pool games on Saturday.
