Texas Loves Your Mo!
USAFL Mo Bro's have proven that they not only look good with some fuzzy facial hair but have also shown they can live up to the name of the game by raising more than $10,000 for prostate cancer research.
It might be proof that everything is big in Texas with David Bryant of the Houston Lonestars raised a whopping $1,330, followed closely behind by Austin Crow Christian Merritt with $1,225. Even though the fundraising event officially finished on November 30, these guys are still collecting donations - way to go!
"We want to thank everyone who participated and donated to this year's Movember event, we are very happy to be able to bring the league together a network to help raise these much needed funds for a good cause", said Andrew Werner, Vice President Central who organized this year's USAFL Movember drive.
For his outstanding efforts, David has scored a $50 gift certificate to spend on footy gear from Aussie Sport Stuff! Danny Hansen of the Minnesota Freeze has scored a Nationals footy for the best mo' as voted by competition organizers.
Top performing team, the Houston Lonestars, have also scored themselves three 2012 Nationals Footballs.
