2013 Baltimore Washington Eagles Exemption Request for Dean Vigus

Player:
Dean Vigus
Exemption Type:
Eligibility Points
Reason:
Brad and Dean Vigus, twin brothers originally from rural Victoria, are past players with Baltimore Washington DC Eagles. Both Brad and Dean played Division 4 at the Nationals in Louisville 2010 and Dean played with the Div 4 team in Austin 2011 and Mason in 2012. Brad and Dean are to return to Baltimore to take up employment in October, and if possible they will play the Eagles' last EAFL game before Nationals, but in any event they will be attending the tournament in Austin. They are very keen to rejoin their teammates, though neither player will have met the qualification game points as they will arrive in the USA just a couple of weeks before the tournament. Dean’s previous employment with the Queensland AFL as a junior development officer has been of assistance to the BWDC Eagles over the past four years in the development of the clubs activities and the twins are set to make valued contributions to the Saturday Morning Footy kids program in 2014 and beyond. Your favorable consideration of this application would be appreciated. If you require additional information please contact Bryan Blake at bblake@ncst.com or Matthew Byrne at MByrne@imf.org, or a member of the BW Eagles board.
