Val began playing footy in 2015 with Arizona. Quickly addicted to the physicality of the sport and the challenge of learning something new, she knew she couldn't give it up when transferring to the Emerald City. So, after only playing a partial season, Valerie worked with the Seattle Grizzlies, a men's club in the area, to form the first ever Seattle women's Australian football team.

In addition to spending time on footy, Val enjoys time with her husband playing co-ed soccer and hanging at home with their two cats!
