Jim Martin

Jim Martin joined the footy family in the 90’s with the St Louis Blues. Jim was an instrumental member of building the Blues during the early years. This skill was noticed by the League when Jim joined the Board in 2002 as VP for the Central Region. He stayed in this role for 10 years, serving under 4 Presidents. Jim always was a voice of reason on the Board and he provided a consistent presence on the Board over a critical period of the Leagues growth. By day Jim is a lawyer and this skill was heavily utilized by the Board. All critical decisions were blessed by Jim and he guidance was valued and priceless. Jim has hidden vocal talents which come to the fore at Board meetings after a few Coopers. Jim was a gentleman on the field and a gentleman in the Boardroom. He is an unsung hero of the league given the countless hours that he has served the sport over more than a decade.

Jim is a shareholder in the commercial litigation department at Polsinelli Shughart PC, a 500-attorney law firm with offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Phoenix, Denver, and Washington, D.C. Jim is also the President of the St. Louis Blues A.R.F.C., which has a history of developing some of the best American players in the USAFL. As a player, Jim reached the 100-game milestone in 2008, and was an alternate for the 2002 Australia Cup squad. Jim lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife Jessica and daughter Ava.
