2024 New York Magpies Exemption Request for Raf Mihalovich

Raf is an observant Jew who is unable to meet the qualifying requirements due to his religious commitments. For the most part, Raf was unable to participate in our regional games on Saturdays and our Friday evening intraclub games for the same reason. For the games he was able to make, he arrived days before and walked to the field to remain observant of the Sabbath. This was no small feat (and quite costly) and given his dedication to nearly every training (he was permitted to make) and the small number of games he was able to commit to, we are requesting this exemption to allow him to play. Likely, given the fact that nationals falls on Yom Kippur he likely will only be able to participate on the Sunday but given his dedication we would like to reward his efforts through inclusion in the div 1 team.
