Coaches Named for Revolution v Australia Clash

Coaches have been named for the Revo V Australia match in LA.  The US Revolution position has been vacant since Coach Alan Nugent, who led the team to a fantastic 3rd Place in this year’s International Cup in Australia, retired due to increasing work commitments. The Revolution Coaching Position will be decided later this year as the Board reviews the needs of our Revolution Program.

For this game, The Revos will be coached by Tom Ellis and assisted by Matt Dianauski. Tom and Matt are both  multi premiership players with Denver and both come to this role with  magnificent playing records in representing their country.

The USAFL Australian Team will be coached by Colin Langley, a former coach of the Milwaukee Bombers and a player in this league with great playing and coaching experience. He will be assisted by James Waddell from the Denver Bulldogs, a player and coach with great experience on both continents.

On behalf of the Board I would like to congratulate Tom, Matt, Colin and James on their appointments.

This match will surely be one of the most interesting games in the history of the USAFL, and a game that is sure to attract much media attention.
