Invest Victoria - Executive Director, San Francisco

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Invest Victoria, part of the Department of Innovation Industry and Regional Development is seeking a highly motivated professional to deliver the Victorian Government’s business development objectives in North America .

As Executive Director, Victorian Government Business Office, North America (based in San Francisco ), you will have broad responsibility for a range of trade and investment initiatives across the country, including satellite offices in Chicago and New York. You will need an internationally focused business development background, record of achievement in deal-making and/or trade and investment promotion.

The Department’s goal is to promote Victoria as a globally competitive business location and increase business investment/employment levels and to target and attract new investors to the State.  Invest Victoria is the single entry point for international and domestic investors to the State.
