Kookaburras to Play at Soccer Halftime

The Atlanta Kookaburras will participate in an exhibition game at half time of the Atlanta Silverbacks v Rochester Raging Rhinos professional soccer team’s game on Sunday the 15th of August at .


 


The Silverbacks, the Premier Soccer team of the south, hold down fourth place on the A League Eastern Conference Ladder. The game will be held at the Dekalb Memorial Stadium in Clarkston GA, a venue that holds 15,000 seated spectators.


 


Exceptional competitive soccer lives in the A-League, USL's highest level of professional soccer in the US and Canada. The A-League is home to current and future stars of the game from over 35 countries.


 


The Atlanta Kookaburras are thrilled to be involved with a professional sporting body such as the Silverbacks and the promotional opportunities the exhibition game will open up for the future of Aussie Rules in the south.
