National Collegiate Invitational

The First Annual National Collegiate Invitational Aussie Rules Tournament will be held at Vanderbilt University on September 10, 11, & 12, 2004. The Semi Finals and Championship games will be played at the 2004 Australian Festival at Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee. This years event will features players from approximately 10 universities throughout the United States with additional positions available for individuals who are interested in playing with existing clubs and strengthening the tournaments numbers.


Player registration is now available and open to any collegiate student, graduate, faculty, staff, and alumni in the United States that wishes to participate. You do not have to be affiliated with an existing University Club to play. We will match you up with the closest geographical University for the event. There is no club or player fee for participation. Club Registration will remain open until September 1, 2004 where the 2004 National Collegiate Invitational Draw will be released. Each club participating will play at least 4 matches over the 3 day event. 


The National Collegiate Invitational will also be featured in a presentation that will be made at the 2004 Australian Business Forum on Thursday September 9, 2004. The Australian Business Forum is being hosted by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and will be facilitated by Mr Peter Baxter, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Australia from Washington, DC.
