East vs. West Showdown II - Outstanding Response

National Coach Alan Nugent and selectors of the East and West teams have been overwhelmed by the response to the second East v West weekend.

The matches, seen as a great chance to display player’s skills for national selection, will be played Saturday June 12^th in Atlanta, the home of the Atlanta Kookaburras, our hosts for the weekend. If the organization already in evidence is any indication, then we are in for one great weekend.

Clubs have nominated players to play in matches on the weekend. The first match will be American players only.  Two matches made of combined sides from the East and West will follow this.

The Revolution selection committee will be working overtime with the talent on display in all three of the games.

Last year a number of players from the first match made their way into the Revos and played in senior competition for their country.

All players nominated by their club will be notified this week about important details of this weekend.

IT IS VITALLY IMPORTANT THAT PLAYERS ATTEND TO IMMEDIATELY MAKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE TRIP AND CONFIRMING THEIR PARTICIPATION WITH THEIR COACH OF THE EAST OR THE WEST.
