Toronto Umpires Clinic

TORONTO UMPIRES CLINIC: MAY 3-5

There are still a couple of vacancies for the Toronto Umpires and Coaches
Clinic.

For novice umpires, the clinic is the first step towards official USAFL and
AFL accreditation.

For those umpires who began the path towards Level One accreditation last
year, this will be an ideal opportunity to consolidate the skills you have
already developed. You will have the chance to umpire a number of games
over the weekend and be evaluated by USAFL Umpires Coach, Andrew Boyle.

The USAFL will reimburse participants $200.00 towards travel costs.

Ideal candidates for the clinic will have a solid knowledge of the laws of
Australian Football and have a reasonable level of fitness.

(For those on the East Coast who need help with transportation, I will be
driving to Toronto from New York. I intend to leave NY late on Thursday
evening, spending the night in Scranton, PA, arriving in Toronto on Friday
afternoon. I intend to be back in NY by Midnight on Sunday. I would be
happy to meet up with clinic participants in NY or along the way.)

To register for the clinic, or for more information, please contact me at
umpires@usfooty.com

Please forward this to anybody at your club who may be interested in
umpiring.
