AZAFL

The time has arrived to begin the second season of still the first and only MetroFooty league in the United States
of America.

The eyes of the footy world are upon us once again.

As you all may well know, the Arizona Australian Football League has expanded to include two more teams this year.

We welcome the Tucson Javalinas and Chandler Outlaws to the AZAFL this year. The Tucson team will be headed up by
Rich "Harp-a-long" Clogan, formerly of the Paradise Valley Redlegs. Chandler was formed and is captained by former
Tempe standout and American Revolution team member Jeff "Fingers" Purcell.

The Paradise Valley Redlegs are now the Paradise Valley Gaels. The AZAFL is very happy to announce the Irish
Football Club, the Phoenix Gaels, in partnership with the AZAFL have assumed control of the
Paradise Valley club as their entry into the AZAFL.

League play will begin on Saturday November 3rd, at 4 PM with the Chandler Outlaws hosting the Tucson Javalinas in a
battle of the two newest additions to the AZAFL. At 5 PM the Paradise Valley Gaels take on the defending Premier
club Tempe Devils. The third and final match of the day at 6 PM will pit the Camelback Crushers against the
Scottsdale Dingos. All matches will be played at the Tempe Sports Complex, located on Hardy, north of Warner.
Tucson home matches will be played at a location to be determined very soon. Round three will see Tucson hosting
it's first ever match.

Post game festivities will once again be at the 4 Peaks Brewery, the 2001 sponsor of the Phoenix Scorpions.

On Saturday, November 18th, Gary Hill, USAFL National Team Head Coach will be giving a coaching clinic to kick off
the weekend of footy. This will be followed by the second round of matches on Sunday at the Tempe Sports Complex.

Cheers,
