Champions Cup
The Cincinnati Dockers will host the June 16th 2001 United States Australian Football League Champions Cup. All former United States Australian Football League National Tournament Champions will be competing in the round robin tournament. This years participants include the Cincinnati Dockers (champions in 1997), Boston Demons (1998 & 1999) and Denver Bulldogs (2000).
As the first ever USAFL champions the Cincinnati Dockers will host the 2001 tournament. The tournament will become an annual competition with the location rotating through the list of former USAFL champions. Cincinnati is the ideal location for the first Champions Cup as three of the four USAFL National Tournaments was held there.
The tournament will be an all day event held at Point Pleasant Park in Fairfield, Ohio. Following the games the Dockers Supporters Club will be hosting a post tournament party beginning at the Holy Grail.
