MAAFL Grand Final

Nashville Kangaroos playing for Mid American Australian Football League
Championship

The Nashville Kangaroos, Nashville's Australian Rules Football Club, are
heading to St. Louis on Saturday September 16th to take on
the St. Louis Blues. A win for the Kangaroos will give them the Mid
American Australian Football League Championship (MAAFL) but a loss will
hand the championship to the Chicago Swans who the Kangaroos defeated
here in August 26th.

The Nashville Kangaroos are currently undefeated in the MAAFL, and ranked
10th in the country while the St. Louis Blues are ranked 8th in the country.
The two teams met twice last year with the Nashville
Kangaroos winning both matches in very tight games. "The Championship is
there for the taking, if we are strong enough to take it", stated Nashville
Kangaroos Coach John Nelson. "In our clubs three year history we have been
runner up in 3 championship games, so this championship means so much to
our club and to our fans in Nashville" stated Nelson.
