2008 USAFL National Tournament

October 7th- The United States Australian Football League will bring its 2008 National Tournament to Colorado Springs this weekend.


The popular event is the biggest Australian Football tournament in the world, and will attract 1,000 American players, officials and coaching staff, with a total of 28 men’s teams spread across four divisions, as well as 6 women’s teams.


The tournament will be held at the Cadet Athletic Fields at the United States Air Force Academy this weekend – October 11th and 12th. ENTRY IS FREE with FREE PARKING also. The organization hopes to have 10,000 U.S. participants in the next decade, a whole new generation of “Aussie Rules” football athletes, and to develop hundreds of thousands of new fans.
