GRILLA Back to commentate USAFL Tournament!

Richard Mann, National Tournament Director for the 2008 Nationals, is pleased to announce that Rodney 'Grilla' Grljusich will be returning to the US to amuse, delight and enthrall us with his play by play announcing and commentary. The success of Grilla in the USA since 2003 expanded this year when the AFL hired him to add his unique color commentary to the International Cup, held recently in Melbourne, Australia, with 16 teams competing over 2 weeks of competition. The addition of a commentator over the PA system for everyone to hear truly impressed everyone who was there and USFOOTY and Grilla are proud to continue this great tradition.

The United States Australian Football League' s premier tournament moves to it's highest place in history, at the United Sates Airforce Academy in Colorado Springs at over 7,000 feet elevation. Not only is it the highest ever, it's the BIGGEST aussie rules football TOURNAMENT in THE WORLD!

This will be captured forever with a historic photo being taken on the Saturday of the tournament - including 1,000 mens' and womens' players, umpires and support personnel, with the majestic Rocky Mountains immediately in the background!

The annual weekend will include major sponsors Coopers Beer, 4n20 Aussie Meat Pies, Boomerang Vodka, Keynote Speaker Mark "Bomber" Thompson (Geelong Premiership coach), special Australian guests, popular USAFL merchandise and over 50 games spread across 5 fields in an action packed 2 days.
