Tigers Prevail in Inaugural Kirkie Cup
Last Saturday saw the KC Power footy club host the first ever Kirkie Cup Lightning Carnival. A beautiful day greeted the players and fans as the first serious hit-out for the year, played out over 3 preliminary games and the Cup Final.

Ryan Majors and Travis Ciemiga contest the ruck.
Excellent performances from the many rookies and more seasoned campaigners produced a high quality of May footy, complete with specky goals and coach-pleasing tackles.
In the end, the Tigers prevailed, and ran out comfortable winners over the battle-weary Demons, with the Lions left to ponder what improvements are needed for the upcoming metro league season.
