The arduous path to the final selection of the squad started in January, 2006 with a practice squad of 90 players and an international game against the Canada Northwind in Houston.   Over the next 27 months the practice squad played games in Ft. Lauderdale (twice), Louisville, Vancouver, as well as conducting two training camps in Atlanta and Los Angeles in 2008.

The coaching staff would like to thank each candidate for their participation, time and effort placed into the selection process.   The efforts of all involved have placed the Revolution in an incredible position to compete for the 2008 International Cup.
