The Convicts to tour USA and Canada in October!

The Australian Convicts football side is set to play a series of matches in the USA and Canada in October 2007.

The team is made up of amateur players and officials from all over Australia with the Convicts charter to promote Australian Football overseas. The playing standard ranges from weekend warriors to players that have represented their leagues and states. This will be the Convicts 4th tour after successfully touring Europe in 2003 and South Africa in 2005 and  March 2007

The Convicts USA & Canada tour will start in Toronto on 4th October.  They will play their 1st match against the Canadian Northwind in Toronto on 6th October and the USA Revolution in Louisville on 15th October during the USAFL national championships. The Convicts will also visit  New York, Washington DC, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
 
The Convicts are looking forward to participating in the tour of  USA & Canada. The opportunity to play  and umpire matches and to celebrate two of the biggest days in Canadian and American footy in 2007 is one the Convicts will treasure!
