Barassi Youth Tournament

 The AFL, in partnership with the Barassi Tournament Board, will soon be calling for expressions of interest from international schools teams wishing to participate in this major youth, non-elite, sporting and cultural event.



Players participating in 2008 need to be no older then 16-years of age at the time of the tournament.


International school teams are expected to meet their own costs of travel to Australia, travel insurance, accommodation, uniforms, playing gear and meals.


The tournament organisers provide transport to and from official training, ceremonial and playing venues, food for players at official games, and entry to a selection of Canberra's (and Australia's) best tourism venues.
