Milwaukee Bombers partner with Laura's Smile Mile

On Saturday April 21st, the Milwaukee Bombers sponsored their first annual Laura’s Smile Mile 5K Run/Walk. The Bombers partnered with the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance and raised over $6500 to be shared among the two organizations. The WOCA is dedicated to providing education about ovarian cancer. Over 325 runners and walkers supported the event located in Veteran’s Park on Milwaukee’s Lakefront. The Milwaukee Bombers promoted Australian Rules Football through a brief demonstration that took place after runners and walkers finished the route. The Bombers look forward to hosting the second annual Laura’s Smile Mile next year, with the date set for Saturday June 7th!
