Launch of USAFL American Advisory Committee

As many of you know, the USAFL is ten years old this year.    As part of that growth process, the USAFL has begun to reach out and seek business and community experts here in the USA who have an understanding of the issues facing the game locally, and can contribute background support to the USAFL Executive Board.  An ideal Advisory Committee member is someone who as part of a team, can assist and guide projects and support major strategic issues on an as-needed basis that the USAFL Executive Board encounters from time to time in managing the growth of the game.  The intention of the Committee is to grow to a minimum number of 8 specialists – all of whom have a professional contribution that they can make.  The initial membership was set up late in 2006, with two founding members – Adam Coleman and Rob Parry.    The time and contribution for any Advisory Committee member is not intended to be large, but the effect can be important.  From time to time, as a major item occurs then that is when the expertise will be needed and appreciated.  From a membership standpoint, professionals are needed so that all the key areas (finance, contracts, business, sponsorship etc) can be covered – primarily due to the nature of the tasks that will be occurring as the USAFL grows.

If you or perhaps someone you know has a skill and background – would like to be a member of the USAFL American Advisory Board, please contact Adam Coleman at usadvisory@usfooty.com
