Nationals Eligibility Points
|
In order to compete at the USAFL National Championships, a player must earn a minimum of 6 Nationals Eligibility Points (NEP) during the season:
- A player earns points for playing in a match for their club or being loaned to their club's opponent in a match
- 2 points are earned for USAFL Matches (matches between different clubs)
- 1 point is earned for Metro Matches (matches within a club)
- A maximum of 2 points can be earned in a calendar week (Monday through Sunday)
- A maximum of 2 points can be earned from metro matches
- No points will be earned if the player has not paid USAFL dues. A one week grace period applies.
USAFL registration fees are for all players participating in all matches sanctioned by the USAFL whether they intend to participate in Nationals or not. The 1 week grace period is intended to give new players a chance to try the sport out before making a financial commitment.
