The Next Ten Years
At the USAFL Board Retreat in Louisville in February 2007 discussions took place on the goals of the League for the next 10 years. It was unanimously agreed that the Board is committed to the following goals:
That the USAFL will be recognized as the best run amateur Australian Football league in the world, including Australia.
To have 10,000 US participants in 10 years.
To work towards having 1% of the population knowing what Aussie Rules is about.
That the game remains community based.
2007 and Beyond
- Break the 1800 games played barrier

USFootyKids to have a qualified instructor in each region, working under the direction of Dennis Ryan
- 3 full time staff
- 12 internships
- 4 part-time staff members
- Sell 8,000 USFootyKid backpacks
- Full time USAFL office set up with office manager, secretary and two full time executive board positions
- Footy store revenue up 30% over the previous year

Membership
- Junior membership introduced
- 10,000 registered USAFL players
- 30,000 juniors on data
- Supporter membership up to 4,000 per year

Conduct third coach’s and umpire’s conference
- Paid admission
- Targeted speakers from NFL, NHL, NBA invited
- Specialty AFL instructors invited
- Held over two day weekend

First USAFL football grounds built
- Plan is to have grounds in each region to hold National Championships around the country-same as the Superbowl.
- AFL exhibition game held in the USA on newly built grounds.

USA Revolution team returns to Australia for the International Cup
- Fully sponsored
- Players having a two year history together
- Goal to play in the Grand Final
- First USAFL Player drafted - making it to the AFL rookie draft list
- Full-time AFL representative working in North America

- National College championships held every year.
- We have four divisions in the USAFL National Championships with 32+ teams and Canada also represented
- Secure four new sponsors

- USAFL games now viewed on web and local TV Stations
- USAFL grant program to help clubs grow Juniors, Seniors, Sponsorship, Advertising and Admin support
