Matt is an Australian but has been living in Canada since September 2019. He found AFL Quebec in July 2022 played almost all of the metro games since. His playing experience in Australia was 2 seasons of junior footy between the ages on 12 and 14. He did not register for USAFL prior because he was not aware he had to.
