2024 New York Magpies Exemption Request for Nochum Paltiel

Nochum is an observant Jew who is unable to meet the qualifying requirements due to his religious commitments. Nochum was unable to participate in any of our regional games on Saturdays and our Friday evening intraclub games for the same reason. Nochum, unlike, Raf was not able to make the extreme arrangements made to get to some games given the increased costs it presented and the difficulties of planning, however, given his dedication to nearly every training (he was permitted to make) we are requesting this exemption to allow him to play. Likely, given the fact that nationals falls on Yom Kippur he likely will only be able to participate on the Sunday but given his dedication we would like to reward his efforts through inclusion in the div 1 team.
