2013 New York Magpies Exemption Request for Michael Spielman

Mike Spielman played with the New York Magpies for 3 seasons from 2010 to 2012. Due to family reasons Mike had to move to Arizona at the beginning of 2013, however was committed to continuing to play with the New York Magpies. Unfortunately due to financial circumstances Mike has not been able to travel to the east coast to play with New York this season, however has been able to save up enough to travel to Austin to play Nationals to with the New York Magpies. Whilst there is a team in Arizona, Mike does not play with them as he lives 3 hours away from where they train and play. Due to the infrequency of their trainings and the impracticality he has not been able to make training. He also retains strong connections to the NY Magpies and intends to continue to play for the New York Magpies as it is unclear if Arizona will be sending a men’s team to Nationals. As such, we request that you grant him an exemption to play for the New York Magpies in the 2013 USAFL National Championships.
