Shirley was born in Columbia and is a fairly recent immigrant to the USA. She was introducted to footy this year by her partner and had never heard of footy until this year. Per USAFL conventions, since she is neither Australian or Irish, we request that Shirley be considered a national for purposes of the 50/50 rule at nationals.
