2014 Denver Bulldogs Exemption Request for Tait Carmody

Player:
Tait Carmody
Exemption Type:
Eligibility Points
Reason:
Tait is a long time members of the Denver Bulldogs, lives in Denver, starting playing with our club in 2009, and has attended every Nationals as a member of the Dogs since. During the 2014 season Tait was a constant presence at training and at our metro games. Tait is a single father and does not have the budget to travel but managed to save his money to make the trip to Nats. As such he planned on playing in our two scheduled home USAFL games against Portland (8/9) and Dallas (9/6) and in metro games to acquire his qualifying points. However, Portland cancelled one of our two scheduled home USAFL matches and Tait was left one USAFL match short of qualifying with the traditional 2 USAFL matches. We hope that he can be considered an exemption to continue to play in our Division 1 side for the Bulldogs this season.
League Ruling
Status:
Granted
Reason:
In consideration of Metro games played & Denver's inability to get home USAFL games, Tait's exemption is granted.
