Laura has not grown up playing Gaelic football and had not heard of AFL until she moved to DC and met some of the women's team at a club event and was encouraged to play. A google of 'Laura Hunt garlic football' does show someone with that name in San Antonio, however, that is a different person than the Laura Hunt who plays with our club.
