2013 Columbus ARFC Exemption Request for Robert Ward

Player:
Robert Ward
Exemption Type:
Eligibility Points
Reason:
Rob has been a part of this club since day 1, but moved to Dallas earlier this year. He registered with the Dallas Magpies with the intention to continue playing the sport at a high level and to play at Nationals. However, with the restrictions placed on Dallas due to their incident at the 2012 Nationals his participation at Nationals is now uncertain. Rob has every intention to help his new team achieve success, but given he won't have an opportunity to do so this year, his wish is to play with his original team. He should not be punished for the discretions of his current team and should be given the option to play for the team he has been a part of for 5 years. As far as eligibility points, Rob has gotten a few games in this year with other clubs and the Revos. Therefore, there shouldn't be too much of an issue there.
League Ruling

Played with Columbus previously. Moved to Dallas this year who is serving a suspension this year. Will be allowed to play with his previous club this year.
