2013 Calgary Australian Football Club Exemption Request for Matthew Bell

Player:
Matthew Bell
Exemption Type:
Eligibility Points
Reason:
Matthew has been a member of the Calgary Kangaroos for a number of years, most recently as part of the team that competed in Mason, Ohio in 2012. With the implementation of LMS this year, our club Admin did not realise that points would not be awarded until USAFL dues were paid, and thus we focused on collecting club fees for AFL Canada. As such, Matthew did not pay his USAFL fees until after playing two metro games and two tournaments. Matt has therefore played sufficient games to receive the required six points, but due to the oversight of our admin, has not received credit for them. Matthew has now left Calgary and will be working harvest on a farm in the middle of nowhere (Saskatchewan) and doesn't expect to be back to play anymore games this year.
League Ruling
Status:
Granted
Reason:
The LMS shows that Matthew would have had the points required to qualify had he registered earlier.
