2013 Calgary Australian Football Club Exemption Request for Kane Arnott

Player:
Kane Arnott
Exemption Type:
Eligibility Points
Reason:
Kane has been with the Calgary Kangaroos Football Club since the start of 2012. Kane was part of the Kangaroos team that competed in the 2012 US Nationals in Mason, Ohio. Kane was promoted this year within his company, and as such, changed his shifts. As a result of this change, he has spent a considerable amount of time in Fort McMurray (7 hour drive from Calgary) and has only been able to participate in one inter-league game, Stampede Cup v Edmonton. Kane's work schedule permits him from playing our last scheduled game against Edmonton and while Kane is an active metro-league player and helps coach the women's trainings when in Calgary, he will not be able to receive the required points due to his enhanced work responsibilities.
League Ruling
Status:
Granted
Reason:
Even though this player only has 2 nationals eligibility points at this time, the LMS shows that this player has played 3 metro matches and 1 intersquad match with Calgary this year. Additionally, he registered and played with Calgary last year.
