2013 Calgary Australian Football Club Exemption Request for Gavin McCormack

Player:
Gavin McCormack
Exemption Type:
Eligibility Points
Reason:
Gavin has been a member of the Calgary Kangaroos for a number of years, and competed at the US Nationals held in Mason, Ohio in 2009. With the implementation of LMS this year, our club Admin did not realise that points would not be awarded until USAFL dues were paid, and thus we focused on collecting club fees for AFL Canada. As such, Gavin did not register or pay his USAFL fees until after playing Stampede Cup (against Edmonton). Gav also played Capital Cup (against Edmonton) and has played two bears v cowboys, meaning he has played sufficent games to have earnt the required six point, but for the administration aspect of registering and paying his USAFL dues. Gavin has torn his bicep curling a ridiculous amount in the gym and thus has ruled himself out of the following games and won't be able to 'catch-up' lost points required.
League Ruling
Status:
Granted
Reason:
LMS shows the player has been playing with Calgary since at least late July.
