- Connect 4 lots of poly pipe together in pairs to make 4 x 10" posts. These will be your main uprights.
- At each end of your field, drive 4 steel pickets into the ground where you want your goal posts.
- Place the 5' pieces of poly pipe over the 2 outer pickets and the 2 10' posts over the center two posts.
Note: Cutting the two tall uprights in half allows for easy transportation.
Large Posts for USAFL Matches
What you need: Bigger poly pipe Couplings to fit the end of the pipe Bigger steel pickets Possibly a hack saw for cutting poly pipe
Assembly:
Follow above instructions allowing for different sizes of equipment.
Suggestion:
Build the main uprights in 3 pieces (approx. 20' tall) and the point posts in 2 sections (approx. 10ft tall). To make them less top-heavy, use 4-5" poly pipe for two bottom sections of the main uprights and bottom half of the point posts works well with the top third/half being smaller 2.5"-3.5" pipe.
