2019 USAFL Nationals Viewers Guide

For the second consecutive year, the USAFL is proud to partner with GoLive SportsCast and ESPN3 to bring you extensive coverage of the world's biggest Australian Rules Football Tournament.

A total of 30 matches will be broadcast from the Premier Sports Campus in Sarasota-Bradenton, FL; 26 of them on GoLive SportsCast by clicking the link below.  The other four will be broadcast on ESPN3.

2019 Nationals Preview - Mens Division 2, 3, 4

Call this the undercard if you must, but there is plenty of talent, action, and excitement at the lower levels of the USAFL Nationals.

Teams are competing not just for a trophy this weekend, but for the chance to move up a division at next nationals.  From the champions of yore looking to claw their way back to the top, to teams who have been treading water for several years looking to make the breakthrough, to the new kids on the block, Divisions 2, 3, and 4 on the men's side have something for everyone.

2019 Nationals Preview - Womens Division 1 and 2

More and more women are playing Australian Rules Football.

And more importantly, the football they’re playing is getting better with each passing year.

For the first time in USAFL history, there will be not one, but two Grand Finals in the women’s divisions, with both competitions fielding six sides.  All told, 24 clubs will be represented in the Women’s Competition as a whole, the most ever.

2019 USAFL Nationals Divisions Announced

The USAFL is proud to announce the seedings for the six divisions to be contested at the 2019 USAFL National Championships in Sarasota, Florida to be held October 12-13 at the Premier Sports Complex in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.  This year's tournament features 44 teams, representing nearly forty clubs across the USA and Canada.

Whats On Tap - 21 September 2019

It's hard to believe that this is the last weekend of the USAFL regular season.  In three weeks' time, we'll be heading down to sunny Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida, for the biggest Aussie Rules tournament in the world.

Four AFL Umpires Return to 2019 Nationals

The USAFL Umpires Association will once again be hosting a pre-Nationals umpiring clinic from 1-5pm on Friday, October 11th at the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida.

The clinic is free and open to all current umpires as well as those interested in learning.

The USAFL and USAFLUA are once again excited to welcome four AFL field umpires – Shane McInerney, Ray Chamberlain, Chris Donlon, and Hayden Gavine -- who will be helping conduct the clinic as well as observing the tournament throughout the weekend.

Skills Competition at the 2019 Nationals

How's your goal kicking?  How accurate is that handball of yours?  How far can you boot the ol' Sherrin?

Put those questions to rest at the 2019 USAFL Nationals Skills Competition, while will be held on Friday, October 11 from 6:30 - 7:30pm.  The venue will be the Stadium at Premier Sports Campus of Lakewood Ranch as part of the Nationals Friday Night Welcome Reception.

Whats on Tap - 7 September 2019

The final full month of the USAFL regular season is here, and this weekend there are seven big matches as we head towards Nationals in Sarasota-Bradenton on October 12-13.

Seven events with USAFL implications happen this Saturday, including a couple of long range road trips, as Oklahoma and Seattle rack up the air miles, and the first ever USAFL matches for Tampa Bay and Hawai’i.

2019 AFL Grand Final Viewing Parties

It has gone from humble beginnings to the most important day on the Australian Sporting Calendar.  It is a day full of color, pageantry, excitement, and some of the best the great game of Australian Rules Football has to offer.

The AFL Grand Final has been played every year (bar one) since 1898.  They even replayed it a couple of times (three, actually) when it ended in draws.  True Story.  100,000 will pack the Melbourne Cricket Ground, just as they have for the past century, to see who will leave as this year's premiers.
