2011 was a big year for Footy in the USA with a record number of both players and teams participating during the year. The Denver Bulldogs took out both Division I and the Women's divisions at this year's National Championships. As well as an outstanding performance at this year's International Cup in Australia, the USA Revolution and Freedom players made their mark, winning the majority of these honours at this year's National Tournament.

Welcome to the 2012 USAFL Board Members who were elected at the 2011 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Austin, TX on October 8. This year's Board includes a number of USA National team representatives and long time members of the USAFL community.

Dublin, OH | Saturday, Oct. 22 - The Aussie Rules and Gaelic Clubs of Ohio joined forces to throw the Inaugural Ohio International Rules Football Challenge. The picture-perfect pitch at Darree Park in Dublin - the future home of the 2012 49th Parallel Cup, and '13 or '14 USAFL National Championships - was an ideal setting on a beaut of a fall day to kick-off this soon to be regular post-season (and perhaps preseason) contest.

The USAFL would like to extend its thanks and undying gratitude toward Richard Mann, USAFL President of 7 years (1999-2001 & 2007-2011). Rich's vision, dedication and leadership have led to significant growth and development across the league. This year's Nationals in Austin was the largest to date and remains the largest Australian Football tournament in the world.
